NEW YORK (PIX11)– In observance of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s birthday, there will be several federal, state and city closings on Monday.
All government and city offices will be closed, including the post office.
All public schools and libraries will be closed.
Same goes for parts of the sanitation department, so no garbage or recycling pickup.
Alternate side of the street parking rules will be suspended, but meters and all other parking regulations will remain in effect.
Subways and buses will run on a normal weekday schedule.
The Staten Island Ferry will operate on a regular weekday schedule.
