University of Louisville player Kevin Ware is back on his feet with the help of crutches.

Photos of the 20-year-old at an Indianapolis hospital with his leg bandaged after surgery were posted on Twitter.

During an NCAA elite eight game against Duke Sunday, Ware broke his leg after he awkwardly landed on the court.

Following the horrific stumble, CBS Sports aired two quick replays of the landing which were wide enough distance for viewers to see the leg land awkwardly, but not close enough to see blood or bone.

The move by CBS has prompted praise for the restraint the network showed considering many critics believe CBS should have shown it more because it is in a position to document history.

Network executives said Tuesday they  have no regrets.
