SOUTH OZONE PARK, Queens — Ahead of the Fourth of July holiday weekend, a 21-year-old man has been arrested for selling illegal fireworks, police said Thursday.

Kevin Isuardeen was arrested Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. after police observed illegal fireworks in plain view at 135-07 118th Street in South Ozone Park, according to police.

Several fireworks were subsequently located, including 26 multishot, three variety packs, seven rolls of fireworks, three packs or mortars, two packs of Roman candles, and four multishot missiles, police said.

Isuardeen is expected to be charged with unlawful sale of fireworks.
