Absolutely nothing–that’s what is will cost to adopt a pet at NYC’s largest FREE pet-adoption event ever brought to you by the Mayor’s Alliance for NYC’s Animals.  All weekend in all all five boroughs, thousands of animals will be available at no cost.  Adoption fees have been paid for by Maddie’s Fund in partnership to the Mayor’s Alliance for NYC’s Animals.

While animals will be up for adoption all across the city, a single mega-event will take place in Manhattan each day:

  • Saturday, June 1, 11am-5pm – Pets will be available for adoption outside Petco on West 92nd Street (SW corner of Broadway)
  • Sunday, June 2, 12pm-5pm – The action moves downtown to the area outside the Petco Union Square (b/w 17th and 19th Sts)

For locations in other boroughs viewers can log on to http://www.animalalliancenyc.org/.

The Mayor’s Alliance for NYC Animals has been around for 10 years and is made up of an alliance of 150 animal shelters and rescue groups.
