NEW YORK (PIX11) — The Puerto Rican Day Parade is around the corner and one way to celebrate is with a coquito.

Coquitos, sometimes referred to as Puerto Rican eggnogs, are a surefire way to not only chill anyone down but to transport them to the wintery Christmas days, as well.

Irma Cadiz, known as the “Coquito Lady,” joined New York Living to show how to prepare coquitos, as well as to talk about the history and culture behind them.
