Zhané Caldwell is a general assignment reporter who joined the PIX11 News team in July 2023.
She previously worked at News 12 Brooklyn, where she covered a variety of issues from housing, to social justice, to New York City’s homelessness crisis. Zhané takes pride in using her platform to hold truth to power and amplify voices of communities who are often overlooked.
Zhané embarked on her career journey reporting for the NBC affiliate station, WKTV, in Utica, New York.
Graduating cum laude from East Carolina University, Zhané’s dedication to honing her craft extended beyond the classroom as she played a pivotal role in launching the school’s first-ever TV news station. She shot, wrote, and edited stories as a multimedia reporter.
