
Perry Sook is a Texan living in New York City, and a sports reporter for PIX11.
With a background in performance, Perry has performed all over the world, including as Shrek in the national tour of “Shrek: The Musical” and as a featured soloist for the “Night of 1000 Voices” at the Royal Albert Hall. Perry has received several awards for his singing and performances.
Perry grew up a Southlake Carroll (DFW) Football Player before attending the University of Oklahoma. His passion for sports led him to the D1 Oklahoma CoEd Cheer Team. In College, Perry also founded his Sports News Podcast, “Sook Sports.”
Perry is also a correspondent for “The Broadway Show” with PIX11’s Tamsen Fadel with his own segment: Perry on the Town. At PIX11, Perry has covered everything from professional sports playoff runs to squash tournaments in Grand Central Terminal.
Perry spends his free time with his wife, Elizaveta, and pet Whippet, Dzuba. He loves all music, from opera to punk rock, and surrounds himself with it when not on the job. Perry is also a passionate Sneakerhead.
