    TAMPA, Florida (PIX 11)– A Florida family is home recovering after eating meat laced with LSD. The meat was bought at a Tampa area Walmart last week. Police say a pregnant woman, her boyfriend, and two daughters ate the steak for dinner on Monday night and began to feel ill. “The symptoms they had included hallucination, dizziness, rapid heart rate, and difficultly breathing,” said Tampa Police Chief Jane Castor.     QUEENS, New York (PIX 11)– A 64 year old man has died after be struck by a car on Northern Boulevard. Kumar Ragunath was crossing the busy street at 41st Road just before 10:30 on Friday night. Police say a dark colored Chevy Blazer traveling westbound hit the man outside of the crosswalk and fled the scene. The victim is in critical condition at Elmhurst General Hospital. A young woman named Kitty Genovese was stabbed to death as she walked home in Kew Gardens, Queens.   • Long Island man charged in uncle’s murder

    NEW YORK (PIX 11)– A Long Island man is in jail and charged with killing is uncle and then burying him in his backyard. Police say 42 year old Jonathan Roman got into an argument with his uncle outside of his home in Coram. It’s not clear how the 71 year old was killed, but Roman buried him behind the house.     NEW YORK (PIX 11)– A Danish pilot has taken selfies to a whole new level. The fighter pilot snapped the picture while launching a missile while flying an F-16 during a training exercise. The Royal Danish Air Force published the image along with a series of videos about their planes.

    NEW YORK (PIX 11)– The NYPD is looking for two suspects in a Brooklyn subway robbery. A female ‘Q’-train rider told police she discovered her wallet was missing after she got off at the Sheepshead Bay subway station last Friday night. The 23 year old did not see who robbed her, but the victim’s credit cards were used to by food, gift cards, and cigarettes at several local stores a short time later.     NEW YORK (PIX 11)– A cookbook has found its way home after more than 21 years.  ‘The Versatile Grain and the Elegant Bean’ was placed in their return box of the The Lawrence (Kansas) Public Library on Wednesday night.
