A Texas native, Matthew loves art, film, food, and rock music. He cannot go a day without watching TV, streaming a show or listening to music.
After receiving his B.A. from the University of Texas at El Paso, he moved to New York to live like Carrie Bradshaw and attend The Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism.
He was a recipient of funds from the News Corporation, Hearst Foundation, and the Herald Tribune Scholarship Fund which helped him complete his graduate studies and stay in New York.
