Kiran Dhillon is an Emmy Award-winning multi-platform journalist with more than a decade’s worth of experience. Before joining PIX11 News, she was a reporter with CBS New York for over two years.
Kiran was also a reporter for Bloomberg News on the Oil Markets team. She has worked as a journalist for CP24, Toronto’s top breaking news station, as well for CBC News and CTV News in Toronto, Vancouver, Winnipeg, Regina and Saskatoon.
She received her Master of Arts degree, specializing in economics and business reporting, from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism in May 2019. While at Columbia, her reporting on India’s mental health crisis was featured in the Guardian as well as the Caravan.
She speaks English, French, Punjabi and conversational Hindi. Originally from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Kiran loves to spend time with her family and friends. She also enjoys traveling and has spent time in every continent except Antarctica (though it is next on her list).
