Julie Grauert joins PIX11 from WNYW where she was a reporter. Prior to moving to New York, Grauert was an anchor for six years in Portland, Oregon at KPTV and KPDX. Before that, she worked as an anchor in Rapid City, South Dakota at KNBN.

She began her career in television with internships at FOX News Channel in and the NBC News Investigative Reporting Unit in DC.

Grauert played Division I volleyball at Georgetown University. She summited Mt. Rainier & Mt. Kilimanjaro and has run marathons in Portland and Paris, while remaining an active student of Bikram Yoga.

She lives in Manhattan.

One mom told Julie that she always believed in the traditional family unit, but her life didn’t turn out that way, so she decided that she wouldn`t let being pregnant keep her from looking for a chance at romance.
