
Erin Pflaumer is a digital content producer at PIX11 News. She began working in news just a few months after she graduated from the University at Albany with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and English in late 2017.
Erin started her career at News 12 Networks as a freelance digital producer. She was promoted twice while at the local news station, finishing out her time there as a full-time digital producer before transitioning to national news coverage at CBS.
Erin has covered major events on both a local and national level, including the Jan. 6 riots, the discovery of classified documents at President Joe Biden’s home in Delaware, and the trial of former Suffolk County District Attorney Thomas Spota on Long Island.
