JAMAICA, Queens — A person was rushed to a local hospital after a stabbing Thursday night in a Queens McDonald’s, officials said. The victim, who has not yet been identified, was stabbed several times in the torso around 7:45 p.m. in the Sutphin Avenue eatery, an NYPD spokesperson said. MIDTOWN MANHATTAN — Two people were injured in a Midtown Manhattan manhole explosion on Thursday afternoon, an FDNY spokesperson said. RIKERS ISLAND — A 57-year-old physical therapist at Rikers Island allegedly sexually abused a jail inmate, the Bronx District Attorney’s Office said Monday. Carlos Negron “took advantage of his patient,” District Attorney Darcel Clark said. MOTT HAVEN, the Bronx — A Bronx bodega worker suffered a broken arm and laceration to the head during an attack, police said Sunday. MARINE PARK, Brooklyn — A body was pulled from the water off of Glass Bottle Beach on Sunday, police said. Police responded to a 911 call for a person floating in the water around 5:10 p.m., according to the NYPD. The male’s body was taken to Gateway Marina where he was pronounced deceased at the scene by Emergency Medical Services. The medical examiner will determine the cause of death.
