3-alarm fire causes partial building collapse in Newark: officials

A three-alarm fire caused a partial building collapse to a vacant building on Clinton Avenue in Newark Thursday night.

According to the Newark Department of Safety, the fire began shortly after 7:50 p.m. on the top floor of the three-story building.

Over 80 firefighters were sent to the scene. No injuries have been reported. The incident is under investigation.
