QUEENS — A prisoner has been captured after escaping custody from the Department of Parole in Queens Tuesday morning.

The suspect was captured by authorities around 9 a.m., police said.

AIR 11 was over the scene Tuesday morning and showed multiple officers and squad cars, and a black SUV with the door open as they looked for the escaped prisoner.
