Kids take to the skies in aviation summer camp

No kid wants to spend their summer in the classroom, unless they're the students at the United Aviators summer camp program.

Each of the nine kids in the camp actually fly in a single engine Cessna airplane, including the youngest participant. She's 11.

NYPD Officer Cletodell Tidus acts as teacher and co-pilot. He’s one of three NYPD officers who came together to create this program.
