Downed tree causes delays on NJ Transit during morning commute

NEW JERSEY — As crews work to remove a tree that fell onto overhead wires, NJ Transit is experiencing delays during the Friday morning commute.

Morris, Essex and Gladstone service faced up to one hour delays in both directions due to the downed wires near Short Hills.

As of 11 a.m., service is now operating on or close to schedule.
