Five buildings evacuated due to report of gas leak in Greenpoint: FDNY

GREENPOINT, Brooklyn — Five buildings have been evacuated in Brooklyn amid reports of a gas leak on Tuesday, according to FDNY.

A gas leak was reported at 77 Freeman St. in Greenpoint around 2 p.m., FDNY officials said.

Five buildings, including the reported address, were evacuated as a precaution, according to FDNY.
