Man, 69, slashes nurse at Queens hospital

FLUSHING, Queens — A 69-year-old man slashed a nurse at a Queens hospital on Sunday morning, police said.

Lewis Cook was arrested and charged with assault following the 6:40 a.m. incident at NewYork-Presbyterian Queens hospital, officials said.

The nurse, 32, suffered a minor injury.

Police have not yet released any additional information.
