Teen stabbed in the back with broken umbrella after fight at Bronx Burger King

MORRIS PARK, Bronx — A teenager was stabbed in the back during a fight in the Bronx on Tuesday, police said.

The victim, 19, was attacked around 3 p.m. on White Plains Road.

The fight had started at a Burger King and spilled out onto the street, witnesses said. The teen was beaten with an umbrella and stabbed with the wooden handle after it broke off.

A witness told PIX11 she was in a car when she spotted the beatdown happening. She said the group of seven or eight attackers kicked the teenage victim. They left when she and others told them to stop.

The teen was rushed to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi for treatment.
