Woman shot in her car in the Bronx after dispute: police

EDENWALD, the Bronx — A 27-year-old woman was shot in the back while in the Bronx on Monday evening, police said.

She was in a vehicle on Monticello Avenue when she was hit around 6:15 p.m.

Police say the victim and suspect were likely involved in a dispute of some sort, although it is not currently know what the argument was about.

The woman was taken to Jacobi Hospital. She is not likely to die.
