Person shot near Bronx school: police

WOODSTOCK, Bronx — A person was shot near a school in the Bronx Friday, according to police.

The shooting happened on Westchester Avenue between Forest and Tinton avenues at 1:19 p.m., police said. The address appeared to be across the street from a school, Google Maps shows.

The victim has been hospitalized in unknown condition, according to police.
