Woman born with hole in her heart now thriving, advocates for heart health

NEW YORK -- The American Heart Association wants to raise awareness about women's heart health.

Cardiovascular disease is the leading health threat for women. But doctors say nearly 80 percent of cardiac events can be prevented.

So we wanted to share stories of survival for the entire month of February.
