Smoke condition temporarily causes delays on 7 train service Wednesday morning

NEW YORK — No. 7 train service was temporarily delayed during the Wednesday morning commute.

Fire officials were investigating a smoke condition, which affected 7 train service in both directions.

The FDNY was investigating the source of smoke between Grand Central – 42nd Street and Vernon Blvd-Jackson Ave., the MTA tweeted.
