1 critically injured in Harlem apartment fire

HARLEM, Manhattan — At least one person is in critical condition after a fire broke out at an apartment in Harlem early Wednesday.

Authorities received a call about the blaze at 3250 Broadway shortly after midnight.

The fire started in an apartment unit on the 10th floor, fire officials said.

One resident was taken to the hospital in critical condition, authorities said.

The fire was quickly knocked down.
