NEW YORK — The Bayonne Bridge closed in both directions for several hours Thursday because of a snowstorm.
The bridge’s official Twitter account announced the initial closure at 3:01 p.m.
The “weather-related maintenance activities” will take place “until further notice.”
The bridge’s New Jersey-bound side reopened by 6:38 p.m., but closed again by 6:47 p.m.
It was fully reopened by 8:34 p.m., but delays persisted.
