LIRR temporarily suspended between Atlantic Terminal, Jamaica due to trespasser: MTA

NEW YORK — The Long Island Rail Road was temporarily suspended between Atlantic Terminal and Jamaica during the Friday morning-rush because of a trespasser on the tracks, according to the MTA.

The incident was first reported on Twitter by the LIRR account around 7:53 a.m.

Service was restores by 8:25 a.m., although 10- to 15-minute delays persisted.
