Man found dead in car parked at auto parts store in Queens

JACKSON HEIGHTS, Queens — Authorities are investigating the death of man found in the backseat of a car parked at an auto parts store.

Police responded to a 911 call around 8 a.m. Sunday and found the man in the BMW at what police said was the rear of an Auto Zone along Northern Boulevard and 95th Street in Jackson Heights.

An employee at the auto parts store had discovered the body.

The man had trauma to his head and was pronounced dead at the scene.
