5 hospitalized after car hits Boy Scouts on Long Island, police say

MANORVILLE, N.Y. — Police are investigating a crash that left five Boy Scouts hospitalized on Long Island Sunday afternoon.

A group of Boy Scouts were walking north on David Terry Road in Manorville when a vehicle struck several of them at about 1:55 p.m., police said.

Five of them were taken to local hospitals, police said.

Their conditions were not immediately made available.
