HOMETOWN HERO: Our hometown hero this week is promoter Mike Luba, who is helping to restore Forest Hills Stadium. Here he shares his passion and love for the stadium, along with stories of its long history in music and the arts.

BELOVED BAKES: On the weekends, thousands show up at Martha`s Country Bakery for a taste of some delicious treats and we can see why.

HOMETOWN TEAM: The Forest Hills Robotics League participates in multiple competitions throughout the year and they build their own robots! Members of the teams, the Hydro Mechanics and the Gear Masters, showcase some of their creations that have won awards and competed.

WHERE IT ALL BEGAN: The U.S. Open first took place 50 years ago, right here in Forest Hills at the West Side Tennis Club. PIX11 investigative reporter Mary Murphy takes a deeper look at her favorite sport, and brings her son along for the ride.
