TRENTON, N.J. — Authorities have identified a teenager gunned down on a street in New Jersey’s capital city.

The Mercer County prosecutor’s office reports that Trenton officers responding to a 9:19 p.m. report of shots fired found 17-year-old Tashaughn Robinson with multiple gunshot wounds to his body.

Prosecutors say Robinson was pronounced dead shortly after 9:30 p.m. Friday at Capital Health Regional Medical Center. The county homicide task force is investigating. No arrests have been announced.

The slaying comes a day after two men were wounded by shots in the city and less than a week after gunfire at an all-night art festival killed one person and wounded more than a score of others.
