BROOKLYN — A pedestrian was taken to the hospital after he was struck at Brooklyn Bridge early Thursday.

It happened around 2:33 a.m. as the man was on a bike traveling east on the Brooklyn Bridge.

As he was crossing the bridge, a car struck him, police said.

The man, 39, suffered head trauma and was taken to the hospital.

The driver of the car remained on scene.
