3 teens shot on New Jersey street

HAMILTON TOWNSHIP, N.J. — Police say two teenage girls and a 19-year-old man are recovering from gunshot wounds after they were shot on a New Jersey street.

NJ.com reports that the three were in front of a Hamilton Township home shortly before 2 a.m. Saturday when they heard several shots fired.

Hamilton police say a 15-year-old girl was shot in the face, a 16-year-old girl was shot in both legs and the 19-year-old man was shot in the leg. All were taken to Capital Health Medical Center, Fuld Campus.

The girls live in Trenton and the man in Hamilton, and the shooting happened just outside the Trenton border.

Police say the victims were unable to provide information about the shooter or shooters, but they remembered a black sedan driving nearby shortly before the gunfire.
