QUEENS, N.Y. — A body was found in the marshes of a Queens park Tuesday, police said.
A hiker made the grisly discovery at about 12 p.m. near 161st Street and Booth Memorial Avenue, inside Kissena Park, police said.
Officers were called to the location about an unconscious male. When they arrived, they found a man in his 20s who was unconscious and unresponsive with trauma to his head, police said.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The man’s identity is being withheld until his family is notified, police said.
