An underground transformer catches fire in Queens.

JACKSON HEIGHTS, Queens — Authorities say an underground transformer caught fire in Jackson Heights Friday morning.

The incident was reported shortly after 4:30 a.m. around 85th Street in Jackson Heights.

FDNY and Con Edison are on scene.

No injuries and no power outages were reported.
