NEW YORK, February 23, 2018—PIX11, Tribune Broadcasting’s New York flagship television station, is pleased to announce anchor Kaity Tong will receive the Governors’ Award from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, New York Chapter.
Since 1962, the Governors’ Award, an Honorary Emmy®, has been presented in recognition of the extraordinary and unique contributions made in the television industry.
The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences’ will present Tong with the award at the 61st Annual New York Emmy® Award Ceremony on April 14.
