Water main break floods Upper East Side, closing streets

UPPER EAST SIDE, Manhattan — A water main break caused flooding and closed streets on the Upper East Side of Manhattan early Wednesday.

The water main break closed off 62nd Street between Second and Third Avenue.

The cause of the break was not immediately known.
