Woman in serious condition after being stabbed on the Upper West Side

UPPER WEST SIDE, Manhattan — A woman was stabbed on the Upper West Side on Wednesday night, police said.

The victim was taken to St. Lukes Hospital in serious but stable condition after the incident, officials said. She was attacked at Columbus Avenue and West 107th Street around 9 p.m.

Police say the woman is expected to survive.

The NYPD says a dispute over a skateboard led to the stabbing.

A female is in custody and police are looking for a second female.
