Floating farm invites visitors to Brooklyn Bridge Park

You can pick some basil, mint and mugwort at Brooklyn Bridge Park's Pier 6.

The barge is floating in the East River. It's called Swale, which is defined as a "low tract of land, especially one that is moist or marshy."

It's open to the public from noon until 6 p.m. Thursday through Sunday.
