Several families displaced after fire rips through row of homes in the Bronx

CLAREMONT VILLAGE, the Bronx — At least 17 people were displaced by a four-alarm fire in the Bronx, officials said.

The fire broke out Wednesday afternoon on the top floor of a home in the Claremont Village section of the borough.

One civilian and five firefighters suffered minor injuries.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
