Jerry Pagan, 32, was arrested and charged with second-degree murder. He is said to be homeless.

A resident at a Bronx apartment building in Sheridan Avenue found his neighbor, 68, with a severed penis lying inside a bathtub about 8:30 p.m. Saturday, police said.

The man was unconscious and unresponsive. EMS pronounced him dead at the scene.

A preliminary investigation found that the man was allegedly involved in a domestic dispute with Pagan.

It was initially thought Pagan had attacked the man over payment for sex, but police sources said the alleged murder was not over money.

The argument stemmed from an incident in their past sexual history, police sources said. Pagan allegedly hit the man with a hammer, stabbed him several times with scissors, then took a razor and cut off his penis.

He also told officers he planned on eating the victim's penis, which was found inside a plastic glove in the sink, police sources said.
