Mother’s boyfriend questioned after toddler found with skull fracture, covered in feces at Gravesend home

GRAVESEND, Brooklyn -- A Brooklyn man is being questioned after his girlfriend's 3-year-old son was found unconscious and covered in feces Monday afternoon, police sources say.

Police responded to a home on West Fifth Street in Gravesend around 4:26 p.m. to find Jaden Jordan with a skull fracture.

Jaden was transported to Coney Island Hospital where he is currently on life support.

The man, who police sources believe is the boyfriend of the child's mother, told authorities Jaden fell and hit his head.

He is being questioned, but no arrests have been made.

The NYC Administration for Children’s Services released a statement about the incident:

“The NYC Administration for Children’s Services is saddened by this upsetting news. We are investigating the circumstances that led to this incident.”
