Queens shooting leaves 19-year-old woman wounded

OZONE PARK, Queens – Police are investigating a shooting in Queens that left a teenager hurt early Friday morning.

The victim, 19, was standing outside 8925 Albert Rd. at about 2:15 a.m. when a car pulled up in front of the house and an occupant inside the vehicle fired shots, striking the woman, police said.

The victim was taken to a local hospital, where she is in stable condition.

Police don’t have a description of the vehicle just yet. Shooting remains under investigation.
