MARINE PARK, Brooklyn – A priest who was reported missing and who was last seen in Times Square is “home safe,” the Diocese of Brooklyn said Tuesday.

Father John B. Ephraim, 49, was last seen about 6 p.m. Monday near Seventh Avenue and East 47th Street in Times Square, police said.

A spokeswoman for the Diocese of Brooklyn said Father John B. Ephraim  told a fellow priest at St. Thomas Aquina Church in Marine Park on Monday he would be “stepping out and returning later that evening.”

But when the 49-year-old did not come home, a parish staffer become worried and called police.

Ephraim arrived at the rectory “on his own” later Monday night, the spokeswoman said.
