SOHO, Manhattan — A trio of alleged robbers started the day with hoodies, but ended it with about $78,000 worth of haute couture.

Three people threw a brick through the glass door of the SoHo location of Gianni Versace Boutique on Mercer Street around 5 a.m. Sunday, police said. The three individuals ran off with a haul of high-end clothing and accessories.

They took 14 handbags, four pairs of mens shoes, three leather jackets, a pair of pants, a red backpack and five shirts, a police spokesperson said.

It is not clear which bags were taken, but bags at Versace range in price from about $600 to $5,000. Mens shoes are priced as high as $1,395. It is unclear which specific styles of leather jackets the three individuals ran off with, but Versace lists leather jackets ranging in price from $3,825 to $7,950 on its website.

Police have not arrested any of the three individuals, officials said.
