SALT LAKE CITY — Charlie Sheen’s ex-wife Brooke Mueller and children were found safe Wednesday after they were reported missing the night before.

A source told the New York Daily News the 7-year-old twin boys, Bob and Max, are safe after police contacted Mueller and she agreed to go the hospital with them.

Mueller’s parents are heading to Utah and are planning to take care of the children while Mueller receives medical treatment, the Daily News reported.

TMZ first reported Mueller and her sons were missing and were last spotted at a Salt Lake City bar Tuesday night. Mueller was reportedly barefoot.

Witnesses told TMZ Mueller and the nanny with them got into an altercation and someone called police because she brought children into a bar. When police arrived, Mueller had already left.

Salt Lake Police were called about Mueller and the twins at 6:30 a.m. Wednesday, according to TMZ.

Charlie Sheen told TMZ, “I’m just trying to get my kids home safe. I have no other details that relate to the ongoing event.”

TMZ reported Mueller moved to Utah earlier this year for rehab and was receiving outpatient treatment.
