Election Day 2016: Senate and congressional races in NY, NJ

There are many local races in the ballot this election year in New York and New Jersey.

Senator Chuck Schumer is looking to keep his seat in the Senate. He's running for a fourth term against Republican Wendy Long. Schumer has also been making a pitch for the Democratic Leader of the Senate if he's re-elected.

Republican Peter King is defending his seat in the House. He's running against DuWayne Gregory.

Democrat Carolyn Maloney wants to keep her spot in the 12th District. Her opponent is Robert Ardini.

And another Democrat, Adriano Espaillat, hopes to return to the House and replace retired Congressman Charlie Rangel's old seat. He's running against Tony Evans.
