THE BRONX — Damien Grant is one busy dad of seven. If he's not feeding the baby, he's taking his older kids to school.

The last thing he wants to worry about is his heat and hot water, but that is his primary concern right now.

"We don't have our gas right now. We have to bathe our babies in buckets right now. It's not right," Grant said, holding his 2-year-old son.

He's tried everything to restore service, from bargaining with his landlord to calling 311 several times. Nothing has worked, so he tried PIX11 News.

First, we called his landlord, and he blames the city.

Then we called Con Edison.

A spokesperson said they are waiting on a safety inspection before they restore gas.

PIX11 News will stay on this story until the Grant family gets their gas turned on.
