VIDEO: Man allegedly sets 2 NYPD patrol cars on fire outside Staten Island station

ST. GEORGE, Staten Island — Police are looking for the man caught on surveillance torching two parked NYPD patrol cars in Staten Island on Wednesday.

Two patrol cars were parked on Richmond Terrace, outside the 120 Precinct station in the St. George section of Staten Island, about 4:45 a.m., police said. A man, wearing dark colored seater and pants, was seen running away after setting the patrol cars on fire.

He fled northbound on Richmond Terrace and turned onto Hamilton Avenue, police said.
