WARREN, N.J. — Members of the Watchung Hills Pop Warner Challenger Flag Football team are inspiring a community to come together for a great cause.

The team was created in 2015 to give children with special needs ages 5-18 the opportunity to play flag football.

The Challenger League is a national program developed by Pop Warner Little Scholars Inc., the country’s largest youth football & cheer program. The games are shorter than regular Pop Warner games, but include many aspects of standard football games.
In an effort to give the players a break from their doctors/therapists and other challenges, the Challenger team is traveling to Disney World to participate in the Pop Warner Super Bowl at the ESPN Wide World of Sports. They will be one of two special needs teams in the U.S. to participate.

They have created a GoFundMe page to raise $50,000 by Nov. 30 to help get the boys to Disney. 100% of every dollar raised goes to support these children.
